Ryde Aquatic Leisure Center, one of Sydney’s best swimming pools, is a state-of the-art aquatics facility located in Ryde. The original venue was destroyed in November 1998 and reconstruction began in April 1999. The reconstruction was completed in April 2000 and the venue opened in May 2000. It hosted the 2000 Summer Olympics water polo preliminary and women’s semifinals.
